Book Review: Dirty Bad Savage (Dirt Bad #2) - Jade West
Rough around the edges, poor, homeless and jobless, Callum survives the best that he can. The only thing that Cal has loved is his loyal dog, Casey. Living on the wrong side of town, Cal uses his artistic side to lash out. Sophie has led a comfortable life in a rich neighborhood with a successful job. Coming from money, Sophie has a dark side that she has to keep quiet. Craving to be sexually dominated, Sophie has desires and fantasies that the BSDM world can provide. She needs a man that can cause her to lose control and be dominated. Sophie and Callum have a sexual chemistry that is electric and tense. With a driving need to protect Sophie, Callum takes control and pushes her till she breaks. After learning a few tricks from Masque, Callum is able to control his rage and feed Sophie’s need. When Sophie’s sister vists Callum is hurt and feels that Sophie is ashamed and embarrassed to be with him, he leaves and ignores her attempts to contact him. Will Sophie finally admit how she feels for Callum? Can Callum look past the rich comfortable life Sophie lives to be with her? This book was a little less on the sexual content than book one and book four however the story was a good one. Each sexual scene was intense, hot and dirty but I really would have liked to see more savage kinky sex. Although the pace of the book was well done and the characters were well developed, it didn’t play into my emotions the way the other two books I have read did. If you are squeamish and unable to handle reading about the pain that is afflicted during scenes or other hardcore sexual elements of BDSM, then this book is not for you. Please take heed to the warning in the front of the book – they are there for a reason. Amazon: http://amzn.to/1TsnB8w
