Hearing a gunshot Jasper locates the source and finds one man dead, a hurt woman and one scared boy that runs away. Jasper proceeds to help the woman and buries the body of the man she was with. Amongst all the dangers and hardships will Jasper and Cora take a chance on love and friendship? A well written beautiful sweet story full of descriptive scenes, well developed characters and full of emotions. The book is full of humor and suspense with a love story mixed throughout.
