My Thoughts:
Willow has been in love with her brother’s friend for as long as she can remember. She would follow them around as a young girl to spend time with him. After he left to the war, Willow didn’t think she would see him again. Little did she know that when she decided to become a mail order bride that he would be her intended.
Traveling to Cutter’s Creek, Willow did not know that Jack had no clue she was coming to be his bride. Being blind and having to learn to read and do things on his own, Jack’s cousin is the one that sent off for the mail order bride for him hoping Jack would realize that he needed the companionship and a wife to help him.
They were both in for a surprise when Willow comes face to face with Jack knowing he doesn’t know who she is yet. When Jack finds out who she is, his temper gets the best of him. Will his temper be his final undoing and cost him the love of his life?
Such a sweet beautiful story with characters that are real and likeable. You get a true feeling of their emotions, heartaches and struggles that they have to face. This story captivated me from beginning to end. This is a complete story in the series and does not lead you into the book however it leaves me wanting to know what about Emma. (Future book, possibly?)
I have read books by Kit Morgan before and this book is as good as the other books I have read. It will not disappoint you at all. I recommend this book and other books by Kit Morgan if you haven’t read any before.
