Book Review: Change in Harmony (A Silver Script Novel Book 4) - Jaclyn Weist

Synopsis:

Allison's dream of teaching music and dance has led her to New York City, and she’s ready to make a name for herself. Everything runs smoothly until the day she meets Nate, who is arrogant and rude, but there’s something about him that intrigues her. Nate’s job at Silver Script Ad Agency has always been a breeze for him. He knows what people want, and the best way to give it to them—but then his newest client decides they should go a completely different direction from his usual formula. To make things worse, he now has to deal with Allison, a beautiful, eccentric girl he can’t seem to get out of his head. Yet she might be exactly what he needs to make the necessary changes in both his work and his personal life. When Nate’s past life threatens to destroy the budding relationship he has with Allison, he is willing to go to the ends of the earth to make things right—something he’s never done before. Can he convince her that he’s changed, or will he be left to pick up the pieces?

My Thoughts:

Change in Harmony is not your typical read of the same old plot that you have read a gazillion times before. It is different and unique and made for a refreshing read. I loved how the author entwined things that both of the main characters either liked or their occupation throughout the whole book. When you think you know what is about to happen, something unexpected happens that makes the book unique.

Allison and Nick have issues that some people experience in real life yet the story twists them around in a unique and different way that doesn’t make you feel that you have read it before in another book. You can feel the depth of emotions that Allison and Nick have for each other. Sometimes you want to laugh out loud and others you will want to smack some characters for being annoying.

This was the first time I had read a book by this author. I found the book enjoyable from beginning to end. It captured my attention within the first chapter until very end. I couldn’t put the book down until I finished.

If you are looking for an enjoyable read that is a unique plot, then look no further. Grab this book and come to love the two characters as much as I did.

*Thank you to the author for providing me with an eARC in exchange for an honest review*
