Book Review: Redemption for Misty by Anne Conley

About the Author:

Anne has written her entire life and has the boxes of angst-filled journals and poetry to prove it. She’s been writing for public consumption for the last four years. Currently she is writing two romance series. In Stories of Serendipity, she explores real people living real lives in small town Texas in a contemporary romance setting. In The Four Winds, she chronicles God’s four closest archangels, Uriel, Gabriel, Raphael, and Michael, falling in love and becoming human. She lives in rural East Texas with her husband and children in her own private oasis, where she prides herself in her complete lack of social skills, choosing instead to live with the people inside her head.

Redemption for Misty

A year ago Misty was kidnapped and left for dead in the floor of a dirty garage, when she was saved by the guys from Pierce Security. Since then, she’s been living with her brother to save money, while working to build up business for her coffee shop that donates proceeds to victims of violent crimes against women. But it’s a struggle

Rated 5 out of 5 ******

This book was great. I loved the general feel of it. The pace of the story moved well, but sped up at the end, which made me want more from it. I thought Chris (Nova) was fun to read about, but wished there was a little more teasing of tension between he and Misty. I also wanted to read more about him, Crash and the other members of their platoon. Although the story was a little shorter than expected, I loved the story and would love to read more.
