Book Review: Bride and Prejudice (Mail Order Brides of Hickory Stick, Book 8) - Patricia PacJac Carr

Synopsis:

Jacqueline Bedel fled from her home and all she'd ever known. Escape. She couldn't let Sebastian find her. Ever. With a last look at New Orleans, she clutched the letter in her hand and prayed she was running to a better man.

Dr. Blake Morgan wrestled with his past, the hold whiskey held over him, and loneliness. He needed a wife. A good woman would save him.

My Rating: ★★★★

My Thoughts:

This is a sweet clean mail order bride romance book. The story line was done well with characters that are like-able. The characters from all of the books in the series blend together so you feel like you are a part of the town and you are not missing out on a day during that time period. I thought this was another good book in the series and was glad to finally see the doctor found a woman for himself.
