Book Review: Meeting The Unpredictable - Riann C Miller

Synopsis:

What happens when opposites attract? Tyler has spent the last six years constructing his perfectly boring life, which is exactly the way he wants it. He spends his days hiding behind the protective walls he has so carefully built and has no intentions of changing . . . until he meets the unpredictable. Lennie Jacobs is an intoxicating mess. She never stays anywhere long enough to form a solid relationship with anyone, including her family, because she has taught her fragile heart that love isn’t an option. What started as a way to pass the time soon blossoms into something neither expected. He was never meant to be permanent. She can’t promise forever. But, when life and love are on the line, everything changes. Meeting The Unpredictable is a full-length, N/A standalone romance novel. Due to language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18

My Rating: ★★★★★

My Thoughts:

This book is exactly that – unpredictable! Riann C Miller wove a story that is unique that will bring out all sorts of your emotions. There were times I could smile for the happiness and craziness of Lennie and other times I just wanted to cry and hug the poor girl for everything she has had to endure in life. I love how her character is so carefree and not afraid to be crazy yet at the same time she is very reasonable, almost “adulty”, but still has her outgoing and not-scared-to-try-anything side. As I was reading a long I didn’t know if I was going to get the happy ending that is typical of romance books or if this book would end sadly. The way that Riann C Miller spun the story she keeps you guessing up till you find out how the ending will go.

I was not able to put this book down once I started. I kept turning the pages wanting to know more, what next will she put Tyler through, what is wrong with her, how will this story end, etc. This is a opposites attract type of book that shows that anyone can love a person they least expect to. Sometimes you need a change in your life even though you don’t think you do. You never know when that person is going to walk through your door and turn your life upside down – in a good way of course. Once you start reading this book, you will get sucked in as well and not be able to put it down. If this book is any indication of the magnificent writing that the author can do, I will definitely be checking out more books from her.
