Book Review: Systematic Siege (Siege Serial #3) - N Isabelle Blanco
Synopsis:
How far are you willing to go for the one you love? He finally has her back. She’s no longer the same girl he once knew. Shattered, ruined, her sad eyes tear him apart every time she stares at him. Drew knows who hurt her. She won’t tell him; she doesn’t have to. He knows. Are you willing to destroy yourself to get them back? It doesn’t take long for Drew to realize that he doesn’t just have to fight to win Lexi’s forgiveness—he has to fight to help put his girl back together. Menahan deserves to suffer. Menahan deserves to die. Andrew’s coming for him, one systematic move at a time. And that starts with ending Menahan’s best friend, his constant ally in crime. A man Andrew once loved like a brother. Barnard Wellington.
My Rating: ★★★★
My Thoughts:
The story picked up where book 2 left off. There is so much conflict between Lexi and Andrew mixed in with an abundance of sexual attraction. You start to learn some of their history and what happened that caused them to split apart and caused the revenge.
This book is part of a series of short stories. I really liked the book however I would have preferred to have the books longer in the series versus having many short stories. (This is just a personal preference however I can see where having short stories is easy to read when you have a few minutes or hour to read). However, I can’t wait to see more from this author. This story will draw you in from book 1 and keep you wanting to know more. I can’t wait for book 4 to come out to see what happens next in this twisted love affair. If you have not read book 1 and 2 then I definitely recommend to go purchase them.
