My Thoughts:
A nontraditional love story with a touch of suspense!
Lost & Found is a story of three people that find a nontraditional love together. It is a beautiful love story of two loyal and fierce bonded cousins that stumble upon an abused girl that is left for dead. Pepper has amnesia caused by her abuser, who is determined that she will be his once again. Nick and Ace will stop at nothing to protect Pepper and
I thought the touch of Roxie being protective of Pepper was a nice touch to the story. It shows the loyalty and fierceness of an animal and who they decide to bond with. There was no way you didn’t fall in love with Roxie. Your emotions will take hold when you don’t know if she will be okay not just once but twice throughout the story.
The story line flowed, unique and was well written. It gave to you several emotions from happiness when the brothers finally get the girl, the sadness at Pepper not being able to remember the details of her life, to the hopefulness that Pepper will remember her past and still want to be with Nick and Ace and the heartache at the loss of loved ones even if through misunderstandings.
This was the first book that I have read by KL Donn and I was not disappointed at all. I can’t wait to grab another one. I recommend KL Donn to anyone that wants to read a good story with hints of romance and suspense that leaves you wanting to read more.
